The ALCAT test measures changes in white blood cells after interacting with standard American food ingredients.  White blood cells are an integral part of your immune system and are located throughout your entire body. Changes that occur in white blood cells after interacting with food samples in the lab are measured (known as cell mediated response.)  Sensitivity levels are generated by comparing the patients' normal white blood cell size to their size after encountering each food ingredient. 

The ALCAT test has been serving doctors and individuals for 24 years. No doctor's office visits are required for the ALCAT test.
