Hidden food allergies can effect your health in ways you may not have noticed. The correlation between food and your immune system are in the news every day.

Here are a few:

1. ECZEMA and PSORIASIS
Skin disorders are commonly caused by food sensitivities. This article explores the difference between the skin disorders eczema and psoriasis in order to explain what new research has discovered. What I noticed were how similar the allergy, eczema, and the autoimmune disease, psoriasis, were to food sensitivities. All three (1) activate part of the immune system which was (2) triggered by the environment and (3) is not unusual to be associated with a genetic setting.

2. RESEARCHERS SAY KILLING ONE PART OF OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM SHOWS PROMISE IN RELIEVING FOOD ALLERGY SYMPTOMS
Western medicine is known for its’ aggressive aproach. In this article, Scientists say killing off of a specific part of our immune system (cytotoxic T lymphocytes) has shown promise in treating allergic reactions. What would be the long term longterm consequences of removing one of our layers of protection from the outside world? This article didn’t explore potential side effects.

3. IRELAND PHARMACIES OFFER FOOD INTOLERANCE TESTS
This is a great idea on how to provide affordable health care to the public. Offer affordable testing on every corner and include blood draws. Ireland also offers food intolerance testing this way. Most of Europe make food intolerance testing easy and affordable because Europe makes them easily accessible. The following news story was entertaining, current and well written.
